The purpose of this gathering of humanitarian stakeholders is to discuss the outcomes of the recent World Humanitarian Summit (WHS), reflect on the implications for future policy and practice, and consider the consequences for a range of stakeholder groupings in Ireland. The event will be addressed by Minister of State Joe McHugh and senior representatives from the UN and Ireland’s humanitarian community.

You will note that we have requested you to indicate issues and/or questions that you would like addressed in the discussions on the July 13th. These issues will be distributed to the speakers and the moderator(s) in advance of the event to improve the relevance of the discussions. A detailed agenda will be distributed following registration and when participant’s issues and/or questions have been received and shared with the speakers.
