The Centre for Humanitarian Action offers a general elective module for undergraduate students.

General electives give you the chance to study modules from outside your programme area and UCD’s Centre for Humanitarian Action gives students, from all disciplines, the opportunity to explore the many issues, functions and challenges humanitarian and development workers face when dealing with both human and natural crises.

The general elective is an introduction to the contemporary approaches to aid and relief work and will explore the many challenges the sector faces during times of global crisis.
